Forensic Medicine/Jurisprudence and Doxology
Forensic Medicine/Jurisprudence and Doxology is the science of applying medical facts to legal problems.
It also advocates the legal practice and defines the responsibilities of a medical practioner in relation to his/ her patients, colleague and the state.
As there is no parallel medico legal system present in our country therefore it is mandatory to train the students in the subject of Forensic Medicine, so they can perform the medico legal work effectively when they are in the field practically.
