Professor Dr. Ayaz Ayub is a renowned public health expert with a rich academic and professional background. He has served in public health for over two decades, encompassing teaching, research, and program management.
He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Khyber Medical College.
Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Public Health at Khyber Medical University, Peshawar. With over three decades of experience in the field of public health, Professor Ayub has made significant contributions to various organizations, including the Provincial Health Services Academy Peshawar (PHSA), the Institute of Public Health & Social Sciences (IPH&SS) at KMU, and Rehman Medical College. His expertise includes developing course curricula, conducting seminars and training workshops, coordinating research projects, and publishing in indexed journals.
He has also worked on various projects with international organizations such as the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), USAID, WHO, and Unicef. Professor Ayub's research interests include community health, public health surveillance, and health systems strengthening.
He is a provincial master trainer for the National Hepatitis Control Program and the District Health Information System (DHIS). At RMC, Professor Dr. Ayaz Ayub is dedicated to teaching, research, and community development, inspiring the next generation of public health professionals.”
