Prof. Dr. Iqbal Muhammad SI(M)

Prof. Dr. Iqbal Muhammad is a distinguished histopathologist and cytopathologist with a rich experience spanning over three decades. He completed his MBBS from Army Medical College Rawalpindi in 1983 and later specialized in Histopathology from Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP), earning his FCPS with distinction and three Gold Medals for outstanding performance.

Dr. Iqbal Muhammad served in various military hospitals and field medical units, holding prominent positions such as Consultant Histopathology and HOD Lab Services. He was appointed Associate Professor of Pathology and HOD Histopathology at Army Medical College and later became Professor of Pathology and HOD Histopath, Cytopath, and Molecular Pathology Departments at AFIP, Rawalpindi.

His areas of expertise include Histopathology, Gynecological Cytopathology, Liver and GIT pathology, Lymph Node pathology/Lymphomas, and Fine Needle Aspiration. Dr. [Name] retired from military service in 2017 and was awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) for his meritorious services in the field of Pathology.
