He was appointed Associate Professor of Pathology and HOD Histopathology at Army Medical College and later became Professor of Pathology and HOD Histopath, Cytopath, and Molecular Pathology Departments at AFIP, Rawalpindi.
His areas of expertise include Histopathology, Gynecological Cytopathology, Liver and GIT pathology, Lymph Node pathology/Lymphomas, and Fine Needle Aspiration.
