Prof. Dr. Irfan Afzal Mughal is a distinguished medical professional and educator with a rich experience in academia and research. He holds a PhD in Sperm Mitochondrial DNA Deletion in OAT Syndrome, and his undergraduate medical degree is from Rawalpindi Medical College (1992). Additionally, he has a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound from NUST and a Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) from Riphah International University, Islamabad.
Dr. Mughal has held various prominent administrative positions, including Principal of Military College Murree, Director of Research at multiple colleges, and Medical Superintendent of Margalla Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS).
