18th Pakistan Physiology Conference Begins at RMC

PESHAWAR: The eighteenth Pakistan Physiology Conference began in Peshawar with over 500 researchers from around the world participating. The conference is being held under the auspices of Pakistan Physiological Society and is hosted by Khyber Medical University, Rehman Medical College (RMC), and Khyber Girls Medical College. The inaugural proceedings were held at RMC and Khyber Girls Medical College.

Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Rashid Mahmood, Chairman of the Pakistan Physiological Society and Head of the Physiology Department at RMC, said that the conference aims to promote research to further advance the field of medicine. He mentioned that 130 scientific papers will be presented during the three-day conference, highlighting the importance of physiology in medicine.

Dr. Mahmood also said that the conference is being attended by students from 125 colleges nationwide.

The Pakistan Physiology Conference is a major event for the Pakistani medical community and provides a platform for researchers to share their latest findings and ideas. The conference is also an opportunity for students to learn from leading experts in the field of physiology.
