RMI Equips Students with Life-Saving Skills
The Dean's Office for Postgraduate Medical Training at Rehman Medical College (RMC) organised a two-day Basic Life Support (BLS) training session for students. During the training, students acquired skills in assessing a person's responsiveness and breathing, performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), utilising an automated external defibrillator, and relieving obstructed airways.
On the final day of the training, CEO RMI Shafique Ur Rehman, RMC Principal Prof. Dr. Mukhtiar Zaman, Principal Rehman College of Dentistry Dr. Ghulam Rasool, Dean RMI Prof. Dr. Shahzada Bakhtyar Zahid, and Principal Rehman College of Nursing Mr. Aurang Zeb were in attendance to award certificates to students who had successfully completed the training.
The BLS training provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to respond to life-threatening emergencies. RMI is committed to providing the community with access to high-quality medical education and training.
